Directed and co-written by Roudi Boroumand, Constant Hum traces a haunting journey through Las Vegas as it’s rarely seen. Norm, a man adrift in the city’s noise and neon, clings to his quiet ritual of humming, a rhythm that keeps memory and meaning alive. Through fleeting encounters with Shakini, a weary psychic, and Russell, an old friend from a vanished past, his song becomes both refuge and testimony. This is not a story of redemption, but of endurance, a portrait of those who survive unseen, and the fragile music that binds them to the world.

This short film blends the deeply personal with the collective, creating an atmosphere where silence speaks as powerfully as dialogue. We see Constant Hum as a postmodern road movie, not of highways and destinations, but of drifting through wounds, failures, and lost dreams—carried still by the presence of human dignity and the longing for connection.

Production Status

After several years of development, Constant Hum completed principal photography in November 2025. We are seeking funding and support to complete production and post-production, with an eye toward completing the film in early 2026 for film festival submission.
