Although we are taking a lean approach to the filmmaking practice for Constant Hum to convey an authentic reflection of the beauty and the harsh edges of life in the Radiant City—the desert light, the constant hum of traffic, the improvised communities of those who live without shelter—there are still unavoidable production costs to fulfill the film’s promise. These expenses include:
- Fair compensation for cast and crew
- Food, beverages and services for cast and crew
- Production insurance to ensure the safety of our cast, crew, equipment and locations
- Post-production expenses, including editing, sound design and coloring
- Film festival submission fees
- Legal expenses to protect the project and its filmmakers
Thanks to the contributions of our producers, we have been able to cover a number of these costs, but we are looking for individuals and organizations who support the mission of this project and are interested in investing in its success to help close our funding gap and ensure this film can reach its full potential.
